Played in Nocturnal Decisions in the Jers over the weekend. Great tournament, while the subbing took some getting used to, the level of play and organization of the tournament was phenomenal. Got put on a stellar team full of ballers, unfortunately we werent that tall and got beat in the finals. Still unreal playing with a team full of people that can handle, I don't know why no one stopped us from going up line. Possession offense in a hat tournament makes life so much easier. Possibly more to come later.

Its been too long
Okay, so its been awhile since the last post, typical me. However, been far too busy lately/have forgotten to post. Work is getting relatively grueling, considering I actually have responsibility now. The Pats lost (still not completely over it). At least the celtics are still playing well, baseball starts sooner rather than later, and even the bruins are good, even though I'm not a huge fan. FNOF was unbelievable, a great way to kick of 2011 ultimate. The team tournament on Friday (finals baby!) was definitely the highlight, I hope that team comes together for next year as well. Hopefully Nocturnal Decisions in a few weeks will live up to its hype. Birthday weekend was unbelievable, thanks to all that participated in the debauchery. Just 3 stellar days. Ive been lifting pretty consistently, which I'm pretty proud of. Combined with winter league that starts in a few weeks, that should hopefully be able to carry me into the season/when its actually nice enough to start running and playing outside.
Anyway some links that ive been saving up for my next post:

Something
Havent posted in awhile, and with FNOF going on this weekend, I wont be able to this weekend either. However, expect a wrap up of that at some point once I get back. Squad is epic, gonna be a blast. Can't wait to play with the team assembled and run some scrubs. Pool play right now is IUP kids and then a rando pitt team that is captained some kid that went to a school ive never heard of. So that should be interesting, gonna be AWESOME to play ultimate. While working out is nice, biking or running on the treadmill is nothing to tournament play. I hope the weather is okay enough for me to get there on time (thanks rainwater for coming to get me).
Anyway, a couple of bangers to bring you into the weekend, or First Night, whatever.
Donnis - Gone while it was recently in an Adidas commercial, Ive actually had this mixtape (diary of an ATL brave, check it out) since it came out. Hes got some really smooth beats which I appreciate. His songs fit any mood http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMoDfDR4fgM
Big Sean - Too Fake ft. Chiddy Bang Im not that big of a Big Sean fan, but I am a huge Chiddy fan, and this song has Xaphoon production all over it. Solid drum pad beat, with a sick indie sample from a song Ive never heard. Chiddy's verse is also unreal as per usual. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiYr95sI1rk

Snowy Monday links
It snowed a sackload all over New England and the midatlantic, lifting legs than shovelling yesterday was the worst feeling ever. The Boston Globe has some solid reader pictures up http://www.boston.com/community/photos/raw/onassignment/2010/122610_snow/#/item-6915 I hope everyone didn't need to work today like I did.
Frisbee: Since it is the offseason for ultimate right now, there has been a noticable lack of good ultimate media recently, sides the Skyd magazine previews (keep up the good work). Thus I'm gonna try and find some solid throwback videos and pictures to keep everyone pumped for First Night/when its nice enough out to play. For today, here are some ridiculous Callahan nominee videos.
-Michael Stout was a monster for Claremont back in the day. Here is his 2008 highlight video, but also check out his 2007 one. His brother is the captain of Truckstop for everyone on the East Coast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnW72-7CT5Q&feature=player_embedded#!
-Jolian Dahl, Mamabird stud, currently playing for Johnny Bravo, layout at 1:42 is insane http://www.vimeo.com/1012004
-Will Neff, Michigan 09 callahan winner, this video is really well produced to go along with the nasty highlights http://vimeo.com/4402692
-Mac Taylor, another Mamabird baller, just won Worlds and Nationals with Revolver http://vimeo.com/4626486
-Tim Gehret Florida 06, hes short, so all his skies are that much more impressive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtAoZzffzys
I hope those are good to get people pumped for now... check back tomorrow for more classic ultimate links

Boston Sports Post
Couple of great Boston themed articles today. Barstool already posted one but I promise found it without barstools help. nfl.com is not blocked at work for some reason while barstool is. Anyway enjoy
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81d184b7/article/battering-brady-makes-sense-in-theory-but-its-risky

http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/mlb/columns/story?columnist=edes_gordon&id=5951380
Also, Kendrick Perkins started actively participating in practice yesterday. Non Celtics fans be scared. While Shaq has been doing a monster job as center, imagine him making his presence known with the 2nd unit while Perk brings his more athletic self to the starters. Obviously have more to say on the subject, but have a family dinner to attend. Happy Holidays
